This was done for one of the challenges on SCS, but I never got it loaded...imagine that! ;-)
Anyway, it was to use the colors lovely lilac, and certainly celery - and optional was the addition of yo-yo yellow. I did my best using Gina K's stamp set that I got a while back. I like the scored background. I hope it shows up in the photograph - it's actually a plaid pattern, but the horizontal shows a lot more than the vertical lines.

I put a last minute Stampin Up order in for the Sale a bration sets (scallops and the sayings one...sorry, I don't do many workshops, so I don't know the real names of the sets), and now I wish I had gotten the Friendship set!! DARN! I know I can get it later on when our local demos have their annual garage sale, but I want it now!!

Guess I'm feeling a bit whiny today because gas hit 4.29 a gallon. I do most of my work outside the office and it costs $82 to fill up the tank...twice a week. I get .49 a mile for re-imbursement. It almost covers the cost of an oil change...blech! I think I need to look for a new job! Outside Sales is not cutting it - especially with the traffic in Seattle!

Hope you all have a great Wednesday! If I can get home in time, there are more cards to photograph and share tomorrow!!

hugs,
Elaine

Great card..love how the ribbon brings everything together!

Sheesh, are you driving a diesel? Not that it makes a HUGE difference but mileage reimbursement changed in 2008:

Beginning Jan. 1, 2008, the standard mileage rates for the use of a car (including vans, pickups or panel trucks) will be:

50.5 cents per mile for business miles driven

Heck, the difference could buy you a couple latte's.....
